2020 Lexus IS | Fox Lexus of El Paso in El Paso, TXThe Lexus IS line includes two appealing models that showcase eye-catching exterior features, high-end comfort and tech options, and impressive powertrains. Take a look at the options within the IS line to find your perfect vehicle.

IS 300

The Lexus IS 300 is a high-end luxury sedan that comes in four trim levels. These include RWD, F Sport RWD, AWD, and F Sport AWD. The main differences are clear – the trim level names refer to whether they have rear-wheel or all-wheel drive and sporty features. Standard exterior features include a sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, and stylish trim elements that make the car look more appealing. You can also get rain-sensing wipers, larger wheels, and all-season tires as options.

The cabin features of the 2020 IS 300 are also quite impressive. Even the base model comes equipped with two front USB ports, an eight-speaker audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 7-inch touch screen that you can control with a rotary dial as well. Optional interior features include heated and ventilated seats, a power-adjustable steering wheel, navigation, and a larger 10.3-inch touch screen. Adding the Mark Levinson package brings a high-end 15-speaker sound system.

Beneath the hood, you’ll find a standard 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that rates at 258 pound-feet of torque and 241 horsepower. It works with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. If you select one of the AWD models, the sedan will come with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine, pumping out 236 pound-feet of torque and 260 horsepower.

IS 350

The 2020 Lexus IS 350 is a bit more luxurious and comfortable than the 300. Only one trim level is available, although you can modify it with packages and options. Standard equipment on the sedan includes LED headlights, a sunroof, a 7-inch color display screen, an eight-speaker audio system, and simulated leather upholstery. If you choose the AWD upgrade, heated front seats come with it. The safety suite includes forward-collision warning with automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keep assist.

Options for the model include the Navigation, Comfort, Premium, and F Sport packages. Within these you can get items like a premium 15-speaker audio system, navigation with a larger display screen, a different set of wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, and other appealing upgrades. This year, Lexus also added a new Blackline package, which adds dark interior and exterior trim elements. If performance is your main area of focus, the F Sport package will likely be your top choice as it bundles handling and performance features that make the IS 350 more fun to drive.

The standard powertrain is a 3.5-liter V-6 engine that pumps out 280 pound-feet of torque and 311 horsepower. It works with an eight-speed automatic transmission if you choose rear-wheel drive, or a six-speed automatic if you opt for the all-wheel-drive system.
