Unrivaled Efficiency Embodied: The 2025 Lexus NX Hybrid

Engine Components

The Lexus NX’s lineup features two hybrid options, with the NX 350h offering three configurations and the NX 450h+ offering two. The base-model NX 350h, NX 350h Premium AWD, and NX 350h Luxury AWD all feature an inline four-cylinder 2.5-liter hybrid engine with a 16-valve dual-cam valvetrain and intelligent continuously variable valve timing. The NX 450h+ AWD and 450h+ F SPORT Handling AWD upgrade to 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid engines.

Performance Specifications

The 350h models’ hybrid engine produces 240 horsepower, while the 450h+ models deliver 304 horsepower. The 350h variants boast a combined fuel economy estimate of 39 MPG, and the 450h+ trims offer 84 MPGe, along with an estimated 37 minutes of all-electric driving range. The lineup’s 350h trims can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in 7.2 seconds, while the 450h+ trims achieve 0 to 60 MPH in six seconds. All models have a top track speed of 124 MPH.

Suspension

The NX 350h AWD and NX 450h+ AWD trims feature independent MacPherson strut front suspensions with gas-pressurized shock absorbers, coil springs, and stabilizer bars. The rear suspensions feature independent double-wishbone setups, also equipped with shocks, coil springs, and stabilizer bars.

The NX 350h Premium AWD and NX 350h Luxury AWD add performance dampers to their front and rear suspensions, while the F SPORT Handling comes with an F SPORT-tuned front and rear suspension with solenoid-actuated shock absorbers.

Cabin Features

Seating and Layout

The first two 350h trims and the F SPORT Handling include NuLuxe interior trim, eight-way power-adjustable heated front seats, and a three-occupant bench in the rear. The 350h Luxury and 450h+ trims replace the NuLuxe with chevron-quilted perforated leather upholstery. Higher trims offer upgrades such as a heated power-folding rear bench, open-pore wood trim, a heated steering wheel, and thematic ambient cabin lighting.

The F SPORT Handling features a unique interior with a perforated leather-trimmed shifter knob, aluminum pedals, enhanced bolsters on the heated and ventilated front seats, and black headliner.

Onboard Safety Tech

Every 2025 NX Hybrid comes with the latest version of Lexus Safety System+, which includes Proactive Driving Assist, a Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Tracing Assist, and more.
