The El Paso, Texas, area has several markets that offer a wide range of goods throughout the various growing seasons. Ardovino’s Desert Crossing
For more than 20 years, the Farmers’ Market at Ardovino’s Desert Crossing has been supporting local artisans, farmers, and business owners. This market is open every Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until noon on 1 Ardovino Drive in the Sunland Park area of El Paso.
The CoffeeStream food truck holds the same hours, making sure visitors are well-caffeinated for their shopping experience. Stock up on local, grass-fed beef from Desert Valley Farm and some unique handmade jewelry from Of the Earth Beads and Jewelry. Stay for lunch at the CoffeeStream, which also serves pizza and mimosas on their patio seating area. Other regular vendors include Buena Vida Wellness and Salsas “Mi Alma.”
Upper Valley Artist and Farmers’ Market
Upper Valley Artist and Farmer’s Market is just under 15 minutes north of downtown El Paso in the Roberts area in the Mesa Plaza shopping center. Here you’ll find everything from goodies to stock your pantry to beautiful gifts for loved ones. Taste some local honey from Buzzbee Honey Co. and pick up a few steaks from Ganados Del Rey Meat Co. Several local restaurants and food trucks, like Sushi Girl Tacos & More Food Truck, also join the market each week, so this is a great spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch.
Visit the Upper Valley Artist and Farmers’ Market on Sundays. The first two Sundays of the month are located at the Mesa Plaza and the last two Sundays are located at the Substation on 145 East Sunset. Farmers & Crafts Market of Las Cruces
Just under a one-hour drive north of El Paso, the Farmers & Crafts Market of Las Cruces is definitely worth the trip! This market hosts more than 200 vendors and spans seven blocks. For almost 50 years, visitors have been enjoying the fresh local produce, live entertainment, and creations of local artists shared at Las Cruces. Stop by the downtown Las Cruces location on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. and the smaller Plaza de Las Cruces location on Wednesdays between the same times. Popular vendors include Pata Viva Farms, Desert Sun Art Jewelry, Rockhouse Farm, and Osito’s Biscochitos.
