The first-class Lexus ES is the model that’s going to reshape the way we think about the sedan class. This bar-raising excellence is especially true in the 2021 Lexus ES. Check out what this model has to bring to your favorite city streets.
Choose Your Own Adventure
One of the best aspects of the 2021 Lexus ESĀ is that it’s available in a wide selection of trim levels, which does away with the one-size-fits-all concepts that other models utilize. The ES is offered in three primary categories: the 250, the 350, and the 300h. These numbers deal with the powertrain options rather than features.
The Lexus ES 250 and 350 share trim levels, growing more luxurious the higher up the list you travel. The trim level lineup starts with the self-titled ES 250 and ES 350, then moves up to the F Sport, Luxury, and Ultra Luxury. The ES 350 also offers an F Sport Black Line Special Edition.
The 300h is the hybrid version of the ES. These are offered in three trim levels: the self-titled base model, then the Luxury and Ultra Luxury.
Lexus Luxury
The ES does a bang-up job of delivering the high level of luxury that Lexus models have come to be known for. As soon as you enter the ES’s cabin, you’ll notice features such as class-leading legroom for the rear row, sunlight shining through the available panorama glass roof, wood accents, and more. Depending on the trim level you choose, you see these and plenty of other eye-catching features and creature comforts.
Aim for the Luxury level to enjoy leather seat upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, and ambient cabin lighting. If you choose an F Sport model, you’ll get sporty black accents for your interior, as well as front seats with deeper bolsters. If you choose the Ultra Luxury, you’ll have the advantage of upgraded leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, the available Mark Levinson sound system, and more. Choose the trim level that speaks to you and your budget the most.
Reliable Performance
When you choose one of the 2021 ES 250 series, you’ll get a 203-horsepower in-line four-cylinder engine connected to an eight-speed direct-shift automatic transmission. All 250 models feature Lexus’s all-wheel-drive system that can evenly split power between the front and rear wheels. Opt for an F Sport model to get the F Sport-tuned suspension system that improves your ES’s agility, especially around tight turns.
Upgrade to the Lexus ES 350 if you want to increase your sedan’s power to 302 horsepower with the available 3.5-liter V-6 engine. For those who are more focused on fuel economy, there are the ES 300h series, the hybrid versions of this sedan. These get up to an estimated 44 combined mpg and output 215 horsepower. With all these options, finding the perfect ES sedan for you is easy to do.
