It works with a continuously variable transmission that powers the front wheels. If you want all-wheel drive, you’ll have to look at the hybrid version, which is the only UX currently equipped with the AWD system. With the hybrid powertrain, the combined output is 181 horsepower. This model is called the 250h.
If efficiency is a top priority, the UX 200 won’t disappoint. According to EPA estimates, the SUV returns 29 mpg in the city and 37 mpg on the highway – quite impressive for an SUV! The hybrid model is even more efficient, with estimates of 41 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.
