The lineup’s gas-engine models house a 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder turbo engine capable of 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. The 350h hybrid models feature a 2.5-liter inline hybrid four-cylinder engine with 246 horsepower and 233 lb-ft of torque, while the 450h options boast a plug-in hybrid system with the same 2.5-liter engine. The 500h trims come with a 2.4-liter turbocharged inline hybrid four-cylinder engine with 366 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque.
Both the gas and the hybrid 2025 RX models feature a 16-valve dual-cam valvetrain with intelligent continuously variable valve timing for seamless acceleration and gear changes. All gas-engine variants come with an eight-speed electronically controlled transmission with intelligence, paddle shifters, and sequential shifting. All hybrid models boast an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission with integrated paddle shifters, while hybrid trims like the F SPORT Performance AWD and Black Line Special Edition feature DIRECT all-wheel drive.

Front-wheel-drive models like the base trim boast 29 MPG on the highway and accelerate from 0 to 60 in 7.6 seconds, while the all-wheel-drive trims offer 28 highway MPG and a 7.2-second 0-to-60 time.
As for the hybrid models, the 350h trims get 34 MPGe on the highway and go from 0 to 60 in 7.4 seconds, the 450h options reach 60 in 6.2 seconds, and 500h RXs achieve 28 MPGe on the highway and are capable of going 0 to 60 in just 5.9 seconds.
