Since its production began in 2014, the NX has been a staple of Lexus’ range, known for its forward-thinking technology and interior comfort. The 2025 Lexus NX is no different, incorporating multiple high-end safety features into its base trim alone.
1. Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
With the help of radar technology, the Lexus NX will adapt its speed to maintain a preset distance to the vehicle in front. If the radar detects the vehicle ahead is slowing, it will automatically slow down before speeding up again accordingly. The feature works just as well in congested traffic as it does on a free-flowing highway, with the ability to resume from a total standstill.
2. Pre-Collision System
The NX’s pre-collision system anticipates potential collisions, notifying the driver with audio and visual cues. The system also activates Brake Assist, which activates the brakes before any physical contact is made. Both vehicles and pedestrians will activate the alerts, keeping you alert to obstacles during your drive.
3. Lane Departure Alerts
If the Lexus NX determines that you’re unintentionally drifting into the wrong lane, it will send both visible and audible alerts to make sure that you’re aware. If you stray too far to one side, Steering Assist will be activated, navigating the car back to the center of the lane. This feature is made possible by the car’s camera, which scans the road and judges your position based on the road markings.
4. Road Sign Assist

When raindrops are detected on the windshield, the windshield wipers on the NX will immediately spring into action. The speed of the wipers will adapt depending on the intensity of the rainfall, so you can maintain a clear vision without having to make any manual adjustments.
